Book Mark with Card

I have made this Book Mark and card using some of the gorgeous crafting goodies sent to me by a dear crafting friend Max They included some sponge blocks for making rainbow backgrounds etc. with alcohol inks as well as some very pretty papers. I have been wanting to use them for sometime now so decided today was the day. I had so much fun making 'rainbow' type patterns using the sponges of which I loaded up with various colours of Alcohol Inks. I also used a little of the gorgeous K'ology papers from K and Co. they really are totally gorgeous.
I have used some acetate and embossed to make a pocket to hold the bookmark. The bookmark was also 'rainbow inked' I then added some more inks, using the sponges, over the embossing.  I have heat embossed a flourish stamped image as well as Cuttlebug embossed onto the bookmark. In the pic. the book mark looks almost quite silver but in reality is is not.

    Looks like you have had a lot of fun with your sponges and inks. I knew you would love them. Your embossed bookmark looks fabby and I love the pretty flourish birdie too.

    So pleased you like what I have done with the sponges and inks :-) I really, really like them and will most definately be using them again - they are truly fabulous. Cannot thank you enough for thinking of me in such a kind way {Hugs}
