I have created this gift voucher wallet using my silhouette cameo. It is for my DD birthday. She does like 'Bling' hence the glitter card and metal book corners. The voucher is for a Hot Stones Massage for her and her sister. Some pamper time for them both at our local Natural Image centre.
The rolled rose and leaves and ticket were also cut with my silhouette cameo. The pamper yourself sentiment is a freebie download I found on Pinterest.

Birthday Postcard with Card Sleeve

I made this very simple postcard style birthday card for my DD. She loves fairies and 'Bling' hence the glitter card.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to create the postcard, card sleeve and mushrooms
as well as the rolled rose. The 'Little Tweetheart' sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly.
I have used a digi image purchased from Etsy ThatCraftPlaceLtd she is very sweet and called Twinkle.  The photograph is mine, taken in my dad's garden. I was pretty pleased with the image as I thought it looks like 3 dancing fairies

Mixed Media - Canvas

My first proper go with a Mixed Media Canvas
Also my first ever entry at http://thatcraftplaceblog.blogspot.co.uk/
anything goes mixed media challenge.

I used tissue as the base for the canvas of which I stamped then used gesso to adhere onto the canvas. then adding layer by layer of colours, stamped images again onto  tissue, adding this to the layers of texture using glittered texture paste as well as various die cuts.
I have being saving up purchased goodies from
http://www.thatcraftplace.co.uk/ for my sewing themed canvas.
I have used sewing embellishments, scissors and a cute watch face charm .. both of which I coloured with silver paint. The cotton twill ribbon, measuring tape and sewing notions themed fitted in perfectly also came from the shop. The glue I used is the marvellous All Round Medium which the shop stocks.
I have used fabric also within my canvas, on the manikins as well as making fabric flowers.
The canvas is bright and bold as it is for a dear friends birthday coming up later in the year. she is very bright and beautiful .. before becoming a publican she worked in the rag trade hence the theme.

The inspiration for wanting to have a go was this Beautiful Creation ... I decided I wanted to feature the 'Captured Fairy' on a tag rather than on the inside of the jar ..
