Altered 'Graze Box' "Wish you were Here"

I have being stashing away a few  'Graze Boxes'   Never quite sure
what I was going to use them for. Then it came to me. I had pictures of  visits to the seaside a couple of years ago. Without further ado ..... here are my finished boxes of trips to Southwold and Lowestoft.
I must add that I have had a great deal of fun putting these together.
I stained the 'Yacht Photo' using Distress Inks Pads It is placed on the underside of the inner Lid.

Boxes secured with Twine
Photographs stored under the 'Inner Lid'

Altered Painted Jar

After seeing several tutorials in recent crafting magazines I decided to have a go with 'altering' a plain clear glass jar. Firstly by swirling acrylic paint on the inside of the jar .. Like this Painted Mason Jar
The inspiration for wanting to have a go was this Beautiful Creation ... I decided I wanted to feature the 'Captured Fairy' on a tag rather than on the inside of the jar ..

Items Used
Clean Glass Jar.
Acrylic Paint ( I used Americana as that is what I had to hand)
Pound Store decorative swirl gems
Green /White Twine
Various Stamped images - flowers, swirl. cupcake, make a wish and Fairy
Cosmic Shimmer White Glue
Coloured Crayons
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder
Alcohol inks
Glossy accents
Tag was made using grey board, attaching Ranger Foil sheet, embossing it.
Adding alcohol inks for colour.
Thank you for taking the time to look.

Time away

I am saddened it has been sometime since I posted anything on my blog. Not only have we moved .. downsized  .... Loving our new home ...  also have been through a pretty rough patch, due to ill health.
I am just getting some interest back in crafting. I have recently being busy making some albums using old LPs as well as old singles. Something I have wanted to do for a long time .. but never quite got round to.
My latest 'have a go with' is Ranger mixative .. Snowcap ..a project in June.'s Craft Stamper Mag. got me wanting to dip my toe in ... will post some pics. of my recent makes sometime very soon.
