Bah Humbug - Guest Designer week 5 - Buttons and Bows -

I Hope Ann was able to add my design onto Bah Humbug .. I have been without internet access and then had a bit of a busy night with things for my parents, so my apologies Ann for the lateness of sending the file over. Thank you Max for been able to pass the info. over to Ann that I was without accress to the internet. Glad to hear you are feeling a lot more comfortable since you had the new plaster cast on.

The fabulous theme for this weeks challenge on Bah Humbugis 'Buttons and Bows' - I did have a bit of a 'mojo crisis' on this one as in I was trying too hard, trying to make everything too complicated. So I came up with something very 'simple' so as not to detract from the Beautiful Bows and Buttons.

  5. Carole I had to leave Max sorting out and uploading as I was at work (it really gets in the way sometimes). I love your card - it's so classy and as you say the effect really shows the buttons and bows off superbly.
    you're a star.

  8. Lovely card Carole. I really like the embossing folder. When you commented on mine you asked about joining the butons. Well I chose ones that all had four holes and threaded them together down through two holes each, through a 'teardrop' bead that had the hole through the top (not end to end) and back up through the other two holes on each button. I tied the threads to hold the buttons in place and embossed them altogether. the thread is secured behind the card and hidden by the ribbon. I hope that makes sense Kate x
